Brooklyn College's highly regarded Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program prepares students for careers as speech-language pathologists in community speech, language and hearing centers; hospitals; school systems; rehabilitative agencies; and private practices.
The Specialization in Early Intervention is an option within the graduate program in speech-language pathology, with coursework designed to engage in clinical practice with infants, toddlers, young children, and their families. This option is open to students who have been accepted into the master's program in speech-language pathology.
Brooklyn College's advanced certificate in autism spectrum disorders program has been designed to reflect a range of research-based approaches available for work with children on the autistic spectrum. These include applied behavioral analysis, natural learning paradigms and developmental social-pragmatic approaches.
