Sutter Health Employee Assistance Program (Sutter EAP) is a full-service, not-for-profit employee assistance program that started in 1982. Sutter EAP provides services to Sutter Health and 60 other companies, including private businesses and public sector companies mainly in Northern California. Sutter EAP provides members with intervention, assessment, and referrals to Licensed Mental Health therapists to help with personal problems that may adversely affect their performance.
Providers must be credentialed and contracted with Sutter EAP to conduct services with our members. Our provider relations department oversees credentialing and contracting. It's crucial for providers to ensure Sutter EAP has updated credentials, including license and insurance, throughout their contracts. This is to provide uninterrupted services to our members and ensure timely payment.
